DESCRIPTION:Dates: March 28th- June 2nd   Training Location: Creve Coeur Lake Park  Graduation Race: Run for the Stars 5K    No Boundaries is a 10-week beginner 5K (3.1 miles) training program designed for people who are currently inactive or new to running and walking.  The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and walking and to encourage them to live healthier lifestyles.  No Boundaries participants receive guidance and advice from experienced coaches\, weekly group training runs or walks\, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition\, choosing the right gear\, and avoiding injury -all within a fun and supportive environment.  The program culminates with the team members participating in one of St. Louis' most festive 5K events. SUMMARY:Spring 2012 Program Registration
DESCRIPTION:  Spring 2012 Program Registration    January 30 - February 10     Register online starting January 30th at 8:30 a.m.   Review the list of sites that offer Girls on the Run and Girls on Track and their practice days and times as well as the Registration Checklist or Registration Checklist Espanol to see what information you’ll need to have on hand in order to register.   Once you’ve completed the registration process\,  you will receive an email confirming that your registration has been received.  Please check that you’ve received an email following your registration.  This email does not guarantee a spot on the team.   Your credit card will be charged at the time of registration.  In case of a lottery\, refunds will be issued.  Please refer to the confirmation email for details.  If you choose to pay by check\, please do not send a check until you are notified that your daughter is on the team.   After registration closes on February 10\, all registered participants will receive follow-up emails notifying them of their status\, as follows:   Girls whose schools are oversubscribed (17+ girls per team) will be automatically entered into a random lottery. Once the lottery is completed\, parents will be notified whether or not their daughter has been added to the team.   Girls whose school teams have not been over-subscribed will receive a confirmation email confirming their daughter’s participation in the program.  At this time\, you should mail in your check.   Payment by check or money order is due by February 27.   Refunds: Refunds will be given to any participant not selected during the lottery process.   A full refund will be offered through the first week of the program & 50% the second week of practice.  All requests must be submitted in writing. No refunds will be issued for any cancellations after the 4th lesson.   If a site is canceled due to insufficient registration or other circumstances deemed appropriate by the Program Director\, the full registration fee will be refunded.  All requests for a refund must be made directly to the Girls on the Run office\, not through a coach.   Programs are 10-weeks long and meet twice a week for 75-90 minutes.  Participation is a twice a week commitment. Please do not register if you can not attend both days.   Dates: Spring program starts the week of February 20th and runs through the week of May 6th.  End of season 5K is on Saturday May 12\, 8:30 a.m. – Downtown St. Louis
